THE DVD OF THE SHOW:

DVD COMMENTS

The DVD is fantastic cinema - even just the menu prologue had me in stitches (my glasses were steamed up with my tears of laughter). The show itself is mega-fabulous. Oh yes, and the bonus is a real bonus, I especially liked the interview. To summarise; the DVD is MASSIVE and I would like to reiterate - THANK YOU!

My heartfelt congratulations on your DVD, which is surpasses itself - it is a masterpiece through and through!
I was on a high. The DVD is so brilliant, I laughed until I cried...Especially the scenes between the various trailers. Simply delectable...
You make your point so well. I've never seen anything like that on a DVD and I thought it was brilliant :-) That's the Désirée I know and love. The audio quality is also top notch, luckily we have a Dolby Surround System at home and the sound in Dolby Digital is bloody marvellous....
I thought the interview was really interesting, I found out things I never knew before, and to get to the point, the whole DVD is simply fantastic.
But even the really handsome and well-made booklet (especially the cool colour scheme, my favourite) is a real triumph. By the way, I've ordered a DVD for my girlfriend too, that's her Christmas present from me this year....

After a full 2 hours of solid laughing (I had tears in my eyes) my conclusion is that THIS SHOW IS SIMPLY DIVINE! I can't remember laughing this much, not even at Michael Mittermeier und Oliver Pocher, whose shows I went to recently. You just seem to have a better and more personal stage presence, we empathise with you and can put ourselves in your shoes, because you're talking about real life.

I thought your DVD really hits the mark. I came to the show in Berlin in the “Bar jeder Vernunft”,and this is a really good way of keeping that fantastic evening in my memory. For me, it was an unforgettable evening. You, your fabulous dresses and your perfect make-up look even better on the DVD, as the cameras give a better picture than the audience got from their seats. The DVD has better and more angles, to put it that way. It was also really interesting to see how the audience reacts to you (especially the woman in the light-coloured jumper in the front row...) - and to see what a diverse bunch the audience was. The bonus material, especially the interview and also the part backstage, was really interesting. I was amazed that you do all your make-up yourself - respect! I think this show DVD is really great and will be recommending it to all my friends!!!
